Saying of abortion clinic workers that, “none of them want to be there, none of them had a desire when they were children to work in the abortion industry. But they are there, and many of them feel trapped,” Abby Johnson launched her new initiative to stop abortion, And Then There Were None, via a June 11 webcast.
Almost 6,500 people listened in as Abby laid out her plans to reach out and provide assistance to abortion workers throughout the nation—until there are none left to facilitate the abortions. “No abortion clinic workers, no abortion clinics, no abortions,” she said.
She spoke of how Planned Parenthood coerces employees into staying there by telling them that, since they have worked in the abortion industry, no one else will hire them. It was frightening, she said, to leave behind the support system she had come to rely on, but she was able to leave because she knew that she could rely on the Coalition for Life to help her. It was their example of reaching out to her in love that enabled her to escape from her employment at Planned Parenthood, and now she is extending that same love to others who are looking for a way out of the trap they have fallen into by working at Planned Parenthood.
