Lack of available abortionists has led to Planned Parenthood in Columbia, Missouri, suspending surgical abortions. According to a report from the Columbia Missourian, Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri announced last week that it would cease committing surgical abortions on July 1 because no abortionists are available.

It indicated that abortions will resume if an abortionist is located. The facility has a history of ceasing surgical abortion due to inability to hire abortionists. Last October it shut down for four months under similar circumstances.

Please pray that Planned Parenthood will fail in its attempts to locate anyone willing to kill preborn children there and that this facility will not only cease abortions permanently, but will shut its doors.
