The Obama administration has once again shown that it has no respect for the will of the people or for state’s rights, as it methodically continues its tyrannical march, hell bent on making all Americans bow at the altar of Planned Parenthood.

With 426,000 federally provided Title X dollars in its pocket, PP of Central North Carolina is walking away from its lawsuit against the state with a Cheshire cat grin on its face. When the state legislature stripped $125,000 from the sex-belching abortion giant, Obama and cohorts came to the rescue with more than three times the amount the state stripped. The move can only be construed as a punitive measure visited upon the voters of North Carolina who, through their elected representatives, made it a priority to defund Planned Parenthood.

Backtracking on its threat to close its Durham facility because of the state’s defunding, Planned Parenthood now promises to not only keep the facility open, but to increase its clientele dramatically. Title X funds are used by the abortion giant, according to Abby Johnson, to get into the minority neighborhoods and drum up business, promising recent immigrants and poverty-stricken women free healthcare, then selling them contraceptives and the resultant STD treatment, and abortions when the contraception fails.

Federal level strong-arm tactics are overwhelming state defunding successes in several states as the Obama administration overreaches its boundaries, steamrolling state’s rights. In New Hampshire, Tennessee, and New Jersey, the fed has directly intervened to fund Planned Parenthood, successfully thwarting state defunding efforts. In Texas, Obama and cohorts stripped $30 million in Medicaid waiver funds following PP’s booting from the waiver program. Clearly, the Obama administration does not have the rights of voters at heart. Rather, it has an overarching agenda that it works tirelessly to promote.

Appearing recently at a conference of NYC bloggers via conference call, Obama affirmed his strong-arm tactics as protector-in-chief of the nation’s largest abortion chain, saying his political opponents “promise to take away access to health care and contraception. They talk about getting rid of vital services like Planned Parenthood.”

“I’m not going to give any ground to those who would deny women their own health care choices,” he said.

Thank God that Americans still have the right to vote, and will exercise that right in November. If the majority take advantage of that right today, and work to elect officials at every level who will work tirelessly to truly and permanently defund Planned Parenthood, the yoke of oppression can and will be lifted.
