Urgent: Oppose radical anti-feminists' 'March on D.C.'
This article originally appeared in this issue of the WSR: 2012-08-15

This Saturday, August 18, Planned Parenthood and its radical cohorts plan to march on Washington, D.C., under the banner “We Are Woman.” They rally in opposition to the imaginary “war on women” that they say is being waged by anyone who opposes the radical Planned Parenthood agenda.

American Life League joins other national pro-life groups in calling on all in the Washington, D.C. area, and those who can get to the D.C. area this weekend, to stand in prayerful opposition to the deadly agenda of these radical anti-feminists.

Some pro-life organizations in support of the prayer effort countering the march are:

Silent No More Awareness Campaign
Priests for Life African American Outreach
King for America
Reconciliation Community Church
National Black Prolife Coalition
American Life League
ThePillKills.com
Citizens for A Prolife Society
National Black Prolife Union

The prayer rally is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the west lawn of the Capitol.

Wear your pro-life t-shirts and bring your signs and banners. Umbrellas and picnic blankets are okay too. Do not bring lawn chairs.

Please contact RDiller@ALL.org if you plan to attend.

Here is a list of some of the supporters of the march, all of whom occupy places on the list of “usual suspects”: Planned Parenthood, NOW, Feminist Majority, the American Association of University Women, CODEPINK, the National Council of Women’s Organizations and its ERA Task Force, the National ERA Alliance, Rock the Slut Vote, the Rainbow Push Coalition-Florida, Moms Rising, and the Coalition of Labor Union Women.

Laura Meyers, CEO of Planned Parenthood in Washington D.C., will be a featured speaker.

It goes without saying that individuals and groups aligned with Planned Parenthood’s agenda do not embody true feminism. Rather, these radical groups embrace all that is antithetical to the purpose and meaning of womanhood and feminism.

Please come stand in opposition to the radical pro-death agenda of these groups, and let America know that pro-life forces are growing, and will continue to grow in opposition to attacks on the preborn and on religious freedom.
