Planned Parenthood Doubles Down in Election Action

You remember the 2016 presidential election. It was the one that Planned Parenthood lost big time.

The remarks of Cecile Richards, former president of Planned Parenthood, the following morning were telling. She described her feelings in an e-mail to Planned Parenthood supporters and used words such as “Devastated. Angry. Heartbroken. Outraged. Shocked. Sad. Disgusted. Ashamed. Discouraged. Exhausted. Shattered.”

Well, the country is now gearing up for the 2018 mid-term elections and Planned Parenthood is doing everything it can to avoid another devastating loss. There are even some who say that the possibility of another loss is what prompted Richards to leave her job with Planned Parenthood.

If you count yourself among those who oppose Planned Parenthood and its child-killing, baby-body-parts-selling, soul-stealing business, then you need to involve yourself in this year’s elections. Over the last few months, we have brought you documentation of how Planned Parenthood is going all-out to win this election.

Word reached us this week about another big training session Planned Parenthood will run for its leaders and volunteers to teach them how to influence and get out the vote in November. This training will see 3,000 individuals travel from throughout the United States to Detroit, Michigan, in July. Kelley Robinson, the national organizing director at Planned Parenthood Action Fund, said the July training event, called The Power of Pink, will give these 3,000 activists and leaders in Detroit various resources for returning to their communities to then build upon the organization's network.

As Planned Parenthood has made abundantly clear, all of this community organizing and leadership training has but one purpose—to win the 2018 mid-term elections.

If you have never been involved in political races before, this is the year to begin. Contact your local pro-life organizations and ask what you can do to help pro-lifers win in November. Remember that the entire House of Representatives and one-third of the Senate are up for election at the federal level.

The Senate races are critical and could yield a huge pro-life victory, as there are 33 seats up for election. Democrats currently sit in 24 of those seats and Republicans sit in nine. The math is simple. There are currently 49 firm Republican pro-life votes in the Senate. Zero Democrats vote pro-life. If we can keep the nine Republican seats and gain 11 of the 24 Democrat seats, we will have the 60 votes needed in the Senate to speed pro-life legislation through.

Your task is clear. Please get involved.
