Medical waste company Stericycle enables Planned Parenthood abortions

The Campaign to Stop Stericycle (CSS) is working to dissuade the medical waste company from servicing some 586 Planned Parenthood facilities across the country. Headquartered in Philadelphia, the campaign has established a website to inform the public about Stericycle’s collaboration with the abortion industry.

The website features a video clip of a Stericycle employee collecting “medical waste” from the second largest abortuary in the nation—Planned Parenthood in Denver, Colorado—and an audio admission by a company official that baby body parts from first and second trimester abortions are collected and incinerated by Stericycle. According to the website, Stericycle burns the remains of the tiny aborted children in its own incinerators in Haw River, North Carolina, and at other locations.

The “Help in the Fight” section of the website lists a number of ways that individuals can get involved in stopping Stericycle’s collaboration with the abortion industry, including calling corporate officers and signing a petition. You can call Stericycle president Charles Alutto at (847) 607-2004 and/or e-mail [email protected] and Stericycle CEO Mark C. Miller at (847) 607-2038 and/or e-mail [email protected] and respectfully, but firmly, express your disgust regarding Stericycle’s collaboration with Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. If you receive voicemail, please leave a message.

The campaign also requests that citizens contact Stericycle clients and investors and assist with research and documentation of local activity and identification of other clients of Stericycle in your area. Further, pro-lifers are encouraged to organize pickets at local Stericycle offices. Details are at http://www.stopstericycle.com/help/.

In addition to Stericycle, the campaign is targeting Idealease and other trucking companies that lease vehicles to Stericycle for its abortion cleanup business.

STOPP highly encourages active participation in this campaign to stop Stericycle’s relationship with Planned Parenthood’s abortion business. It is another facet in opposing Planned Parenthood at every corner—a strategy that will erode community support and eventually result in the closure of Planned Parenthood facilities.
