Public school superintendent to keynote Planned Parenthood fundraiser
"It's appalling that the superintendent of Richmond, Virginia's public schools will give the keynote address at a Planned Parenthood function," said Ed Szymkowiak, national director of STOPP International, an American Life League division. "Not only does Planned Parenthood kill future students, but it also teaches children sex education in a way that denies the truth and meaning of human sexuality."
The superintendent of Richmond schools, Albert J. Williams, will be the keynote speaker at the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood's Annual Dinner on May 22. The dinner will take place at the Capital Club in Richmond at 6:00 p.m.
Szymkowiak will join a protest organized by Life and Liberty Ministries, a regional pro-life group. Life and Liberty Ministries reports that the Richmond Planned Parenthood alone kills approximately 23 babies per week. "This Richmond Planned Parenthood killing center is part of a nationwide chain that reported performing 197,070 abortions in 2000 and over 3 million since 1977," said Szymkowiak.
"This should be a wake-up call to area parents," Szymkowiak said. "If you care about your kids, you should keep them away from Planned Parenthood
