"If Planned Parenthood really is a health care organization, how come it doesn't talk about 'patients'?" asked Ed Szymkowiak, national director of STOPP International (a project of American Life League). "A careful reading of its 25-year plan, Vision 2025, shows that Planned Parenthood's primary focus is social engineering, not health care."
Szymkowiak said in the entire Vision 2025 document, the term 'patients' does not appear a single time when referring to those who use Planned Parenthood's services. "This document is more of a strategic plan for an organization that clearly considers itself the leader of a social movement and not a health care organization. It is time for all government agencies to stop giving Planned Parenthood taxpayer money that is supposed to be spent on true health care."
Szymkowiak and STOPP's executive director, Jim Sedlak, recently released a comprehensive analysis of Vision 2025. The 19-page analysis, The Planned Parenthood health care hoax, along with a 2-page summary, can be found on STOPP's web site.
"It is also noteworthy that this 25-year plan never mentions God," said Sedlak. "Planned Parenthood says it wants to 'be an authoritative force in creating the ethics that govern biogenome technology.' For Planned Parenthood to think that it can create ethics without reference to a higher moral authority is the height of arrogance."
Sedlak said in the year ahead, STOPP International will focus on bringing to light "the hedonistic philosophy behind Planned Parenthood's Vision 2025 and encouraging people across the United States to fight against Planned Parenthood."
In addition to the analysis of Planned Parenthood's vision document, the STOPP web site also contains STOPP's plan for defeating Planned Parenthood. Anyone interested in having Sedlak or Szymkowiak speak to a church or community group can contact them at 540-659-4171 or by e-mail.
