Planned Parenthood video promotes sadomasochism

Is there any perversion Planned Parenthood will not present to young, vulnerable people as “play”? Judging from the home page of Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, apparently not. The “healthcare” organization features a video storehouse known as “A Naked Notion with Laci Green,” by sporting a picture of a young lady flagging a condom. Click the link to watch the videos, and you will be greeted by “Getting Kinky—BDSM 101,” an instructional rave created in partnership with Planned Parenthood of Northern New England that attempts to make sadomasochism sound like a harmless, pleasant romp in the park.

Laci states in her perky, lilting voice that October was declared National Kink Month, “and when you think about it, October and kink—they’re kind of a fitting pair,” she says. “Halloween and kink are both about adventure and fun and exploring roles and dynamics that are maybe a little bit different from everyday life.”

The video flashes to a pair of handcuffs, and the query, “What is BDSM?” Laci explains that BDSM stands for bondage and discipline, domination and submission, and sadism and masochism. “It consists of intentionally designed scenarios called a scene where two people play out pleasurable acts that they’ve previously negotiated, called play,” she says.

But the dictionary makes no such distinction about previous negotiation or play when defining sadism. Merriam-Webster defines sadism as: “(1) a sexual perversion in which gratification is obtained by the infliction of physical or mental pain on others; (2)(a) delight in cruelty; (b) excessive cruelty.”

That’s a far cry from negotiated fun, yet Planned Parenthood blatantly promotes it as pleasurable play. And its obvious target is young and otherwise vulnerable people.

“The pain at play with sadomasochism is not like breaking a bone or getting beat up,” Laci explains. “It’s about the strategic use of bodily sensations to elicit pleasure.”

She then sets out to normalize this horrific, dangerous perversion by saying that some people believe that those who participate in BDSM are emotionally scarred or were once abused. She states that this is “not true; it’s a total myth. People across the spectrum with various backgrounds participate in BDSM. The pain as exhilaration concept is not only old as dirt, it’s pretty common, even outside the bedroom.” She then compares sadomasochism to a runner’s high and the “intense euphoria” that results. “Kinda the same thing going on,” she says.

“The idea of using power and control and pain in a set scene understandably sets off alarms in some people’s heads,” she says. “They hear that BDSM involves spanking and pain and torture . . . scary stuff. With no further knowledge it’s easy to conflate BDSM with abuse.”

“But BDSM and abuse are actually very different,” Laci says. She continues,

BDSM is about a consensual power exchange. Abuse is not. BDSM is negotiated and agreed upon before anything happens. Abuse is not. BDSM has rules, limits, and boundaries that are respected by all parties. Abuse does not.

If your head is reeling just imagining how these people who have consented to being bound and tortured are going to be respected by their “non-abusers” who are torturing them—and how respect and pre-negotiation are going to cause the torturer to limit his torture in wake of sexual stimulation—your head may well explode when you hear Laci’s next statement.

“BDSM relies upon and creates trust.” Yes, she really said that. “Abuse destroys trust,” she continued.

Next she sets out “the rules” that will ensure that BDSM remains equivalent to a runner’s high. Of course, in Planned Parenthood style, the first rule is to “negotiate safer sex”—that is, prevent STDs and pregnancies.

Rule 2 is setting boundaries. Using a “yes, no, maybe” chart is suggested as a tool. As we all know, those “maybe” boundaries are really helpful in all dangerous situations.

Laci continues, “Rule 3: Because saying stop, don’t, or no is sometimes part of the scene, partners practicing BDSM must agree on a safe word that’s easy to remember.”

Rule 4 is follow-up after a “scene,” “sometimes called after-care.” It’s all about sharing feelings after doing something really intense that may bring up some difficult feelings. Cuddling is suggested.

Rule 5 is consensual respect. “Safe, sane, and consensual power exchange relies on unyielding respect for each other’s boundaries.” It’s all about following the rules, she says.

And since this is a YouTube video, at its conclusion the viewer is treated to a variety of sadistic video options for his or her personal consumption.

Students on Christmas break are likely to log many hours online. If they end up on this Planned Parenthood website, the results could be beyond devastating.

This is Planned Parenthood. This is the organization that gets $1.3 million taxpayer dollars every day of the year to perpetuate its agenda.

This video and the others in the Naked Notion storehouse proudly bear the banner “In partnership with Planned Parenthood of Northern New England.” The PP logo appears on the browser tab as the videos are viewed.

What more do we need to know? Planned Parenthood is not a healthcare organization. It is the nation’s largest abortion chain. It is a seminal source of the most unbelievably perverse and dangerous sex promotion in the nation. And it has access to the eyes, ears, minds, and hearts of our children on a daily basis, whether on their smart phones, computers, or in person in their schools. It is time to stop the madness. We must defund Planned Parenthood, and we must do it without delay.

Our Wednesday STOPP Report archives are brimming with information about Planned Parenthood’s horrendous targeting of our children. Planned Parenthood in Houston hiding sex ed involvement--again

Parents and other concerned citizens in the Cy-Fair School District of Houston, Texas, launched a website, http://www.SexEdNurSchool.com recently to expose the graphic It’s Your Game sex ed curriculum developed by the University of Texas Prevention Research Center (UTPRC). According to Jennifer Fleck, our contact in Houston, Planned Parenthood subsequently rewrote the information on its website that tied the abortion giant to the curriculum and took down the It’s Your Game videos from the Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast website in an apparent attempt to hide its involvement in the UTPRC curriculum. As of December 17, Planned Parenthood had eliminated the It’s Your Game videos that were previously on the Planned Parenthood website.

Planned Parenthood and/or UTPRC also filed complaints with YouTube, which resulted in the blocking of a clip of one of the more egregious It’s Your Game videos. The Houston parents’ website still contains a wealth of information, including a plan of action and screenshots of some of the totally inappropriate messages and scenarios that are included in It’s Your Game for middle school students.

This is not the first time website scrubbing has occurred in an attempt to cover up the connection between UTPRC and Planned Parenthood. The University of Texas website carried information in early October 2012 that Planned Parenthood was a partner with the University of Texas at Houston Prevention Research Center in its core activity—“the diffusion of effective health promotion programs to health and education agencies, and the provision of training to health agency professionals to develop and evaluate effective health promotion programs locally and nationally.”

That partnership is a fact that UTPRC and PP set to work immediately to hide, following STOPP’s original article in October exposing the connection. The reference to the partnership with Planned Parenthood was deleted from the UTPRC website. Around the same time, a link from a YouTube video that is contained in the curriculum and was cited in our original report was changed from public to private.

It appears that UTPRC has invested a great deal of taxpayer money in developing this curriculum in partnership with Planned Parenthood and stands to get a lot more if it can successfully implement and evaluate it. It now seems that UTPRC understands that the Planned Parenthood name is a blight on its curriculum and, in order to implement it throughout the school districts it is targeting, it needs to dump the liability of openly partnering with Planned Parenthood.

The program was blocked from Houston’s Cy-Fair School District by the quick action of parents at the beginning of the school year. The parents are committed to fighting this curriculum until it is out of all schools—not just Cy-Fair. For more information or to contact them, visit their website.

STOPP is working with parents in many areas of the nation to get Planned Parenthood out of the schools and out of the community. E-mail stopp@all.org for more information.

Expert testimony before school board points out folly of PP sex ed

The road to victory is paved with many battles. When articulate community members come forward to speak out against Planned Parenthood at every corner, it is a victory in the making.

That was the case in Portland, Oregon, on December 3 when the school board entertained comments on the topic of Planned Parenthood’s Teen Outreach Program (TOP) in the public schools. The abortion giant is using taxpayer dollars to train the teachers and provide the curriculum, which includes after-school excursions with the Planned Parenthood teachers.

If you are fighting Planned Parenthood in your school, or plan to, we highly suggest listening to the testimony presented here, beginning at 12:44. Portland teacher Bill Diss, who has been leading the fight against the TOP program in Portland, speaks beginning at 16:12.

Expert testimony from Dr. William Toffler begins at 19:25. Dr. Toffler is a professor of family medicine who has worked for 27 years at OHSU teaching residents and medical students. He has given national presentations on sex education regarding what does and does not work.

Speaking of TOP, Dr. Toffler says, “Such interventions by Planned Parenthood are at best ineffective and at worst, harmful.” He calls Planned Parenthood and the school district to task for setting aside valuable academic time to teach such things as masturbation in a state that has the fourth lowest graduation rate in the U.S. He also calls upon the board to respect and support Mr. Diss and support his right to follow his conscience.

At 22:53, Dr. Tom Owens testifies. He is a retired educator and educational researcher. A former school board member, he holds a Ph.D. in education. Dr. Owens shares his concerns about the involvement of Planned Parenthood in the Portland schools.

Dr. Owens cites three areas of concern: “The emphasis of Planned Parenthood on casual sexual behaviors as separated from the emotional aspects of a committed relationship,” “the disrespect shown to our young people who may prefer to abstain from sexual behavior before marriage,” and “the emphasis for pregnant teens on the option of abortion with minimum attention to parenting or adoption.” He says that Planned Parenthood’s participation in the school programs “distorts the meaning of true loving commitments and encourages our youth to regard sex as only an enjoyable pastime.” He suggests that Planned Parenthood’s contract not be renewed.

At 26:39 Lori Porter, a teacher for 22 years and founder of Parents Rights in Education, speaks. She points to Dr. Miriam Grossman’s book, You’re Teaching My Child What? for more information on what is happening across the country with harmful sex education. She frames her engaging argument in terms of parents’ rights. She addresses the wild claims that the TOP program makes for academic success, saying that the statistics are unbelievable, and that they were put out by someone connected with Planned Parenthood.

At 29:54 you will hear Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers. According to his website, he is the founder and director of DynamicDeacon.com, a Christian evangelization and apologetics organization dedicated to the dissemination and promotion of Catholic values, principles, and teaching in complete faithfulness and total submission to Holy Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the Magisterium. He served as the chair of the board for the Oregon Department of Public Standards and Training, and is currently chair of the board of Northwest Family Services.

Deacon Burke-Sivers points out that the Planned Parenthood programs are encouraging behavior that many parents find offensive, with abortion as their ultimate end. He cites CDC statistics and the location of the Planned Parenthood school programs to show how Planned Parenthood is targeting the black population for decimation. “Abortion kills as many black people every four days as the Ku Klux Klan killed in 150 years,” he says. He presents information on some alternative programs disseminated by Northwest Family Services that help students succeed in life.

Congratulations to Bill Diss and all those in Oregon who are standing firm in the face of persecution to fight Planned Parenthood’s presence in the schools.
