Planned Parenthood Action posted the picture to the left as its cover picture on its Facebook page shortly before Election Day. It is a depiction of the word “VOTE” and is obviously meant to depict the suggestion that women should vote with their “lady parts” based on the availability of free contraception.
The “V” is formed by a woman’s legs, upside down and spread apart. The “O” is a package of oral contraceptives. The “T” is an intrauterine device. And the “E” is a corruption of the American flag. Underneath the VOTE logo, are the words: “This time it’s personal. Support women’s health! Vote Tuesday, November 6, 2012.”

While the abortion giant claims its opposition wants to set women back 40 years, it is clear that its real concern is not women’s health or rights, but promotion of its contraception and abortion business at the expense of the dignity and rights of women and children. The abortion giant has sunk millions of dollars into ads for its champion, Barack Obama, who has already repaid the investment many times over with government grants. Planned Parenthood’s CEO, Cecile Richards, put everything else on hold and campaigned full time for Obama, right through Election Day.
The VOTE logo was tenaciously defended on the PP page by those who accuse their opponents of “slut-shaming.” They obviously see degrading displays of women’s legs spread eagle as a proud symbol of unbridled lasciviousness.
Also seen at Planned Parenthood rallies and the Democratic convention during this election cycle were the ever-endearing “Sluts Vote” buttons.
This is how Planned Parenthood champions women.
