Planned Parenthood sex indoctrination running rampant in California

The Daily Caller broke a story this past weekend about the mandated sexuality education program in California and how Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union are working together to subvert parents’ rights and harm our children. The article, ACLU Told CA Teachers To Help Students Obtain Abortions Without Parental Notification, Video Reveals, documents with undercover videos what is going on behind the scenes in California.

Based on several meetings, it appears what is foremost in the minds of Planned Parenthood and ACLU operatives is to get students to abortion facilities during school hours without their parents knowing anything. They seemed particularly concerned that if students were away from school for the abortion procedure that the teacher for any class they missed would report that the student was “absent” from the class. That would then automatically trigger a phone call to the parents, informing them that their child had missed one or more classes. The “solution” that was given to teachers was to report that the child had an “excused absence.” That would not trigger any call.

The situation in California is very fluid and confusing because that is the way Planned Parenthood and its cronies want it to be. The more confused parents are, the more PP can push its agenda. Let’s look at some of the intentional confusion.

  1. The California legislature passed the California Healthy Youth Act 2016 (California Education Code [EC] sections 51930–51939)
  2. The California Department of Education, based on the 2016 Act, is updating its Health Education Framework to “provide guidance to educators, parents, and publishers, to support implementing California content standards.”
    1. The revisions to that guidance document have been published, reviewed by the public, and revised again and again. The “final” revision was approved by the California Board of Education in May 2019.
    2. However, if you go on the DOE website to read the latest document, you are met with a statement that says: “The chapters posted on this web page do not reflect the State Board of Education revisions. The final version of the Health Education Framework will be available Fall 2019.” (The red color is on the original page.)
    3. Thus, as a parent, you can’t even read the Framework for the fall school session until the fall!
  3. In the meantime, Planned Parenthood and others are holding training sessions with teachers on how to implement the coming changes and, it seems clear, instead of sticking to the subject of what will be taught, the teachers are inundated with discussions on how they can cooperate in allowing children to get abortions without their parents knowing about it.

We, at STOPP, are headquartered in Virginia. We do considerable work in California fighting Planned Parenthood and its expansion plans. As we find out about problems such as the ones discussed here, we can alert you to them. We encourage all of our readers in California to become involved with local groups who are monitoring and trying to sort out the confusion within the state education structure. The group who brought to light the current issue of helping kids to get abortions is called Our Watch. Please get in touch with them or similar groups to keep up to date on the latest problems within the state education establishment.

A final note, as we were researching this article, we became aware of an increasing demand for home schooling in California. As the education establishment in the state is succumbing more and more to the radical demands of Planned Parenthood, it is beginning to look like a viable and necessary option for more and more families.
