Planned Parenthood and Valentine's Day

This coming Friday the nation celebrates Valentine’s Day. Every year, Planned Parenthood uses this day, and the week in which it falls, to push its philosophy of “sex for pleasure” for everyone—even for teens.

Traditionally, February 14–21 is proclaimed as National Condom Week and is used to push the Planned Parenthood agenda. Last year, for example, Dr. Sara C. Flowers, vice president of education at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, said: “Everyone deserves to have a healthy, fun sex life. Using condoms and other barrier methods to prevent (STDs) and unintended pregnancy is an important part of taking care of your and your partner’s health.”

Of course, all these methods have failure rates. As Planned Parenthood continues to push free sex and barrier methods—even for teens—the Center for Disease Control and Prevention released a 2018 STD SURVEILLANCE REPORT that highlights an alarming threat. Not only have the rates of STDs risen to record highs, but it documented an alarming threat: Newborn deaths from syphilis increased 22 percent from 2017 to 2018 (from 77 to 94 deaths).

Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region put out this call for volunteers last Thursday: “St. Louis: Central West End Safer Sex Kit Assembly Party. Set the mood for Valentine's Day and join Planned Parenthood in assembling safer sex kits (condoms, lube, and health services information) to be distributed throughout the community! Monday, February 10, 2020 5:00 PM -  7:00 PM. Planned Parenthood of the Saint Louis Region, 4251 Forest Park Ave, Saint Louis, MO 63108”

Planned Parenthood of Illinois is emphasizing the need to give consent to sex. As if teens and pre-teens are able to give informed consent! Hasn’t Planned Parenthood heard that cognitive thinking doesn’t develop until the early 20s?

And, of course, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Indiana and Kentucky are all about turning Valentine’s Day into a political lobbying day. It must be that West Coast influence!

Beware of Planned Parenthood this weekend. It uses Valentine’s Day to target your teens and pre-teens.
