As it promised it would in September of 2009, PP of Indiana has shut down its Franklin facility.
Tony Eichhold reports from Franklin that Jim Sedlak, founder of STOPP, visited nearby Greenwood, Indiana, where he gave a presentation at Our Lady’s Church, and that on-site prayer vigils began at the Franklin PP facility in the early 2000s. The vigils took place on the first Saturday of every month for eight or nine years, with three to eight people commonly in attendance. The group prayed the Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and prayers from the prayerbook “In the Palm of His Hand.”
Tony faxed a picture, taken on February 27 of this year, of the empty building with a “For Lease” sign in the window.
Congratulations to those pro-lifers who stood their ground year after year in opposition to PP in Franklin, and to the new ones who joined in along the way to oppose Planned Parenthood. STOPP is pleased to have been a part of the opposition to this PP facility that ended in its closure!
