Operation Rescue reports that a sidewalk counselor in Albuquerque, NM, took advantage of technology to reach a 17-year-old young lady who was inside the Planned Parenthood abortion mill at the insistence of her mother last week awaiting an abortion that she did not want.

Having obtained the cell phone number of "Jane" (not her real name) from a concerned relative of the young lady's boyfriend, Tara Shaver sent her a text message, promising help if she would walk out of the facility. Jane responded that her parents would not let her leave. Tara reassured Jane that her parents could not force her to have the abortion.

Tara advised Jane to look at the ultrasound and even texted her a picture of a baby at 6 weeks gestation, identical to Jane's baby's gestational age.

Tara asked Jane to go outside and told her she would be there in a few minutes. Jane replied, "Please come now."

The two finally met and Tara got Jane the help she needed.

Thanks be to God for Tara Shaver, who set aside her personal life to answer a plea for the life of an unborn child, and for the concerned relative who sought out a sidewalk counselor who would step out in faith and give her all to save the little child's life.

Unsung heroines like Tara step out of their personal comfort zone every day and endure much persecution and hardship for the sake of the innocent ones they seek to save outside the Planned Parenthood abortion mills of our nation. Please remember all sidewalk counselors and the mothers and babies they seek to assist in your daily prayers.
