The politics of child corruption: Boston public schools and Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts found a direct path into the Boston schools through the doors of the city council. Planned Parenthood-endorsed city councilor Ayanna Pressley is taking credit for requiring “comprehensive sex education” in Boston public schools. Pressley was first elected in 2009 and wasted no time getting to work on Planned Parenthood’s agenda.

In a September 2013 interview, while she was a Planned Parenthood-endorsed candidate for reelection, she boasted of her pride in her 2010 move to build a coalition with abortion and homosexuality promoting groups including Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts, and MassEquality.

“I am so proud of the partnership I have forged with tireless advocates and that after more than three years of work together, we were successful in getting a robust sexual health education and condom availability policy passed by Boston Public Schools this June,” Pressley said in the interview. She continued:

As founder and chair of the city council’s Committee on Women and Healthy Communities, my maiden hearing as a city councilor was on teen pregnancy in March of 2010. . . .

Following the hearing, I helped build a broad and diverse coalition of advocates including the Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy, Hyde Square Task Force, Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, ACLU, MassEquality, ABCD Health Services, and NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts. Over three-and-a-half years we met regularly and had many small wins along the way that made passage of the comprehensive policy possible.

How diverse, you may wonder, was the sex ed coalition that pushed these requirements on young children? As you might suspect, Planned Parenthood has close ties to every organization on the coalition. You can read the details about those organizations and their connections to Planned Parenthood here.

Pressley goes on to brag of her work with the Planned Parenthood coalition: “We advocated and drafted a district-wide policy and our work and recommendations went directly into the final policy.” She continued:

There is no reason that in 2013, the Boston Public Schools should not be providing comprehensive sex ed and making condoms available. Youth need it, parents say they want it, and research shows it works.

Now that we have a district policy that requires this, elected officials, advocates, and families can hold BPS [Boston Public Schools] accountable for providing equitable access. Now the real work begins for our coalition —helping BPS implement the policy.

And Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts just happens to have on hand a curriculum that it wrote and tested as a research project on Boston elementary and middle school students over a three-year period just for the purpose, it would seem, of “helping BPS implement the policy.”

PPLM’s Get Real claims that it can reduce the onset of sexual intercourse in 6th to 8th graders. But a look at the data gathered by the impact study Planned Parenthood paid for shows that the rate of sexual debut for the students exposed to the program are actually well above national averages by 8th grade. And while the study claims the rate of 8th graders having sex was lower than those of Boston-area 8th graders in the comparison group, the study supplies no information whatsoever about the type of sex education provided to the comparison group, revealing neither names nor content of the sex ed.

The study also admits that missing data poses a “critical threat” to the impact evaluation, and identified other problems, but in the end defended the research findings and called for more children to be exposed to the curriculum to facilitate further testing.

You can read our entire report on the skewed impact study being used to bolster Planned Parenthood’s Get Real sex instruction program and see some of the results of the Get Real program on our website.

Not only has Planned Parenthood benefitted financially from the Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy $1.2 million dollar grant, it has made giant leaps toward getting its “sex positive,” medically inaccurate, anything-goes-as-long-as-it-is-consensual sex instruction into the hands, minds, and hearts of children as young as 11 years of age. By aligning itself with an up-and-coming city councilwoman who cut her political teeth working for John Kerry, Planned Parenthood found a path that led straight into the Boston public schools.

Planned Parenthood can be stopped, however. Parents in Boston and across the nation still have the ability to pry their children out of the hands of the abortion giant and its allies. Jim Sedlak lays out the plan step by step in his book Parent Power!! It is a plan that has worked time and time again. Please download it today free of charge and rescue your children from the hands of those who would profit exponentially by their corruption.

The Boston coalition that drove Planned Parenthood to school and took over a former Catholic church

In the course of political maneuvers to force Planned Parenthood sex instruction into Boston Public Schools, Planned Parenthood-endorsed councilwoman Ayanna Pressley formed a coalition with a group of like-minded, abortion and homosexual rights oriented groups that she described as a diverse coalition of tireless advocates.

These organizations worked together with Pressley for more than three years to put everything in place to require Planned Parenthood-style comprehensive sex instruction in Boston public schools. And shockingly, one of the coalition members has now taken over the Blessed Sacrament Church campus, which was closed by the Boston Archdiocese in the wake of the priest sex abuse scandals in 2004. It is likely that Planned Parenthood sex instruction is now part of the “community outreach” that takes place at Blessed Sacrament.

Here is the 411 on the coalition that drove Planned Parenthood to school and took over the 115-year-old majestic Catholic church campus. It reads like a directory of top pro-abortion, pro-homosexual entities.

NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts: NARAL originally stood for the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League. The name says it all. Since that title didn’t resonate with the general public, the abortion lobby group dumped the explanation, kept the acronym, and added “Pro-Choice America” or “Pro-Choice” and the name of the affiliate at hand to the title. From the NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts website: “NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts is proud to be the political leader of the pro-choice movement here in the commonwealth. We are a state affiliate of NARAL Pro-Choice America.”

Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts: This Planned Parenthood affiliate operates seven facilities across Massachusetts, three of which commit abortions on site, while the remaining four feed abortion bound women into the surgical abortion facilities. Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts authored Get Real, the sex instruction curriculum that it tested in Boston elementary and middle schools, using students as young as 11 as guinea pigs.

The Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy: According to a May 2014 press release from Planned Parenthood, Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts is a subcontractor with The Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy on a Teen Pregnancy Prevention grant from the Department of Health and Human Services. Those grants are not for small change. The federal Office of Adolescent Health shows that MATP received a $1.2 million grant as a part of the current grant cycle. MATP is hosting certification sessions for sex ed teachers—taught by Planned Parenthood.

ABCD operates school-based health clinics, among its other community outreach programs. It lists contraceptives among its services.

The ACLU is notorious for defending everything that runs counter to family values, and almost always aligns with Planned Parenthood.

MassEquality is a group organized to “preserve” same sex marriage. In an interview on the Planned Parenthood PPLM website, Planned Parenthood refers to MassEquality as its “friend” and says, “MassEquality and Planned Parenthood, along with our allies, are devoted to ensuring that the LGBTQ community, suffering with a lack of culturally competent care, access, and information, are given a voice and an opportunity to re-take control of their health.” MassEquality refers to Planned Parenthood as “a valuable asset to the LGBT community,” and advocates for funding for the abortion giant. And the results of the capstone project for Boston 8th graders who were exposed for three years to the Planned Parenthood curriculum Get Real shows that the children were taught that homosexuality is normal and on a level with heterosexual sex.

Hyde Square Task Force: Tragically, Hyde Square Task Force now owns the 115-year-old Blessed Sacrament Church campus, which was shut down in 2004 by the archdiocese. The Task Force lists Planned Parenthood on its website as a collaborator. It is reasonable to believe that Planned Parenthood programs are or will be in place on the campus that was built to give glory to God.

Planned Parenthood has its tentacles into every area of community life, especially the ones that will give it access to children. Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts has proven that through extensive networking, a city council can be a fast track into public schools. Parents, be vigilant.

Planned Parenthood's landlord can be our best friend

It is true! Planned Parenthood in Pueblo, Colorado, is set to close February 24. The reason? The new landlord decided not to renew Planned Parenthood’s lease. And Planned Parenthood is so popular and trusted that it was not able to find another place in Pueblo to lease, according to a KRDO News report.

Get to know your local Planned Parenthood landlord. Put him on your mailing list. Show up with signs and stand in front of the facility in prayer often. Talk to him about Planned Parenthood every opportunity you get. Soon the landlord will probably realize that Planned Parenthood is bad for business and that it casts a very dark shadow over the property. Then Planned Parenthood will get nothing but rejection letters when told to hit the road!

Pro-life snowmangelization

We have another great picture and story this week from the dynamic duo Rita Smith and her sister Theresa Leitold, both members of the Missionaries of the Gospel of Life. Last edition we heard Rita tell the amazing story of their untiring work in shutting down Planned Parenthood in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, putting Our Lady front and center. This week, Theresa wrote and sent us this awesome picture of a snowman her husband built recently, which she promptly embellished with pro-life signs—and with Our Lady front and center, of course.

She wanted her neighbors to see it, and she wanted everyone to know that even though the March for Life has passed, it lives on. The snowman is wearing a March for Life pin on his scarf.

We hear a lot about the pro-life generation. Theresa’s sign helps us remember there are several pro-life generations alive and working. We should never forget about the venerable pro-life heroes and heroines who have paved the way, and who still today, like Rita Smith and Theresa Leithold, never stop fighting to save the babies—even when it means enlisting your snowman for some protracted snowmangelization! God bless them everyone! And be sure to thank a pro-life grandma or grandpa for all they do.
